About Us

Lisa Marie Riemen was born on March 7th, 1979. Lisa was born and raised in the McFarland, Wisconsin area along with her brother, Brett. They spent numerous hours enjoying their time on beautiful Lake Waubesa, which happens to be one of the places Chad and Lisa spend a great deal of time. Lisa attended McFarland High School and graduated in 1997. Shortly after graduating, she gave birth to her daughter, Kayla. With her new bundle of joy by her side, she began attending MATC to pursue her degree in Accounting. Lisa finished her Associate in Accounting and began using her skills at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. She was hired on as an administrative assistant while attending college and has worked her way up to become the Office Manager. There is never a dull day in Lisa's work life or home life. Between working out, working, being a mom and a wife-to-be, Lisa NEVER has trouble keeping busy. During the winter months you can find her attending Kayla's basketball games or Chads! Between the two of them, she has basketball coming out of her ears! She also enjoys snow skiing and even playing kickball on the ice @ Christys Landing!! Summer is Lisa's favorite time of the year, where she enjoys spending time on the lake with her friends and family followed by a campfire to end the night just right!

Chad Michael Paley was born on June 12th, 1979. Chad was born and raised in the Platteville, Wisconsin area along with older brother, Jim and younger sister, Lisa. Chad spent much of his childhood exploring the outdoors with his brother and neighborhood friends. Chad's younger years were filled with many different sporting events. If it involved competition, Chad was involved in it. Many of Chad's closest friendships were developed on some type of playing field. Chad attended Platteville High School and graduated in 1997. During his high school years, Chad participated at least one year in basketball, football, baseball, wrestling, and golf. Chad certainly didn't break any records or impress too many people but he will never forget the lifelong friendships he formed with teammates. After graduation, Chad attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to major in Elementary Education. During college, Chad worked at various construction jobs (mostly with Michael's Masonry), as a bartender, and even on the Siegert dairy farm. Chad accepted an internship in McFarland during his final semester of college and then graduated in May of 2002. Following graduation, Chad was lucky enough to find a second grade teaching position with the McFarland School District. Chad remains in the position today. Since 2002, Chad had completed his Masters of Education program through the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (2006). He has also participated in coaching both basketball and football. Chad continues to work in the construction field as much as possible and even started his own small business, Chad Paley Construction, this year.

Where it all started... In September of 2005, Chad was preparing for his first day of class with a new group of second grade students. Into the classroom came an extremely bright, well mannered little girl. Not only was Chad impressed by this girl, but her mother's looks were impossible to ignore. Kayla went on to have an unbelievable year in second grade and continues to impress her entire family on a daily basis. Following Kayla's second grade year, Chad was able to muster up enough courage to ask Kayla's mom out on that "all important" first date. Chad and Lisa decided not to tell Kayla about their newly developed relationship at first just to get a better feel for where it was going to go. However, Kayla's too darn smart and figured it out in a matter of weeks. A matter of fact, her exact words were, "Mom, are you dating my teacher?"

As they say... the rest is history.
